Other Ways to Give

We thank you for your generosity and interest in supporting our community.

Unfortunately, we do not have sufficient staff or volunteers to receive and process donations all hours of the day, nor do we have unlimited storage space; therefore, if you would like to offer us an in-kind donation please first speak with Carolina Lugo, Director of Programs, so that we can determine if we are in need of the items you are offering, and, if accepted, make an appointment to deliver the donation.

We typically always accept unexpired canned and dried foods, particularly foods that are culturally affirming for our community, such as Maseca (corn flour), black beans, rice, and meats, as well as diapers, for our food pantry.

We accept other in-kind donations (such as unused school supplies, and toys, books, and clothing in very good used condition) on a very limited, as-needed basis only.

Please contact Carolina Lugo, Director of Programs, via email [email protected] or phone 804-230-4399 to describe your donation and, if accepted, make an appointment for delivery.

Please do not leave your unscheduled donations at the door, reception, or lobby.

We are very grateful for your support!
